- Lead and manage a geographically distributed team of DevOps engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
- Drive the development and automation of cloud infrastructure, ensuring it is scalable, secure, and highly available.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to streamline processes, foster cross-functional collaboration, and ensure the seamless integration of DevOps practices.
- Ensure the security and fault tolerance of systems by implementing best practices and monitoring compliance with industry standards.
- Oversee the use of infrastructure management and CI/CD tools ensuring efficient automation of provisioning and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with leadership to align DevOps strategies with overall business goals and technical roadmaps.
- Lead the incident response process, ensuring quick resolution of infrastructure issues and continuous improvement of processes.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Experience leading geographically distributed teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across time zones.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and experience with infrastructure management tools such as Terraform.
- Experience in implementing and maintaining secure and fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure.
- Proven ability to manage and mentor teams, driving performance and collaboration across departments.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between development and operations teams.
- Fluency in Russian is required for effective communication within the team and across the company.
- Strong understanding of security best practices in cloud environments, including IAM, encryption, and compliance standards.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI.
- Solid understanding of containerisation and orchestration technologies, such as Kubernetes.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus) for maintaining infrastructure health and performance.
- Experience operating services in colocation or on-premise data centres.
