Venn Group Digital Forensic Specialist 6-month+ Contract On-Site London Inside IR35 – DOE

Our market-leading client require a Digital Forensic Specialist to support the work of the DFU by contributing to building lab capability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all appropriate systems are in place and the work follows appropriate standards (ISO 17025 and FSR Code of Conduct)
  • Provide reports and updates, present findings, developments , recommendations to the department head and internal stakeholders
  • Developing and implementing methods, plans, training materials and competency assessments for digital forensic tasks
  • Assist the department head and other consultants to undertake planning, review and collaboration to resolve issues

Skills Required:

  • Extensive experience as a Digital Forensic Investigator/Examiner
  • Hands-on experience working on digital forensic casework and delivering results to customers
  • Extensive knowledge of digital media, storage, operating systems
  • Understanding of evidence handling procedures as well s the Forensic Science Regulator code including analysis and interpretation

Desirable:

  • Experience of working in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement environment
