Design & Technology Technician - Secondary School in Newham

Are you passionate about Design & Technology and eager to inspire the next generation of creators? We are looking for a dedicated DT Technician to join our thriving secondary school in Newham.

About the Role:

As a DT Technician, you will play a key role in supporting our Design & Technology department, ensuring that students and teachers have everything they need for engaging, hands-on learning.

Key Responsibilities:

? Preparing materials, tools, and equipment for lessons? Maintaining and servicing machinery, ensuring health & safety standards? Supporting teachers and students during practical sessions? Managing stock levels and ordering supplies? Ensuring a safe and organised workshop environment

What We're Looking For:

?? Experience working with DT equipment (woodwork, metalwork, electronics, or CAD/CAM)?? Knowledge of health & safety procedures in a workshop setting?? A proactive and organised approach to work?? The ability to support students with practical tasks?? Previous experience in a similar role or relevant technical background is desirable
