This is an urgent opportunity for a highly skilled Solution Architect to contribute to a critical phase of our client's finance transformation project. We're seeking a true expert in Dynamics 365, with a strong understanding of IFRS compliance and group consolidations, to lead the design and implementation of a key solution.

  • Fully Remote within the UK, with occasional travel to Europe

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the solution architecture for a Dynamics 365 implementation, specializing in financial modules and processes related to IFRS and group consolidations, within the scope of this 6-month contract and relevant to UK/European regulatory requirements.
  • Elicit and analyze business requirements from finance stakeholders across the UK/Europe region, translating them into functional and technical specifications.
  • Design and configure Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and consolidation modules, focusing on key deliverables within the contract period and aligned with UK/European best practices.
  • Develop and maintain solution architecture documentation, including process flows, data models, and integration specifications, as required for the contracted deliverables.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team, as needed.
  • Collaborate with business users and the implementation team across the UK/Europe region to ensure the solution meets business needs and adheres to best practices.
  • Conduct gap analysis and recommend solutions to address any discrepancies between business requirements and Dynamics 365 standard functionality.
  • Design and implement integrations with other systems, as required for the contracted scope.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Dynamics 365 features and functionalities, particularly related to finance and accounting, and relevant to the UK/Europe market.
  • Participate in testing and deployment activities for the deliverables within the contract period.
  • Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting for implemented features within the contract period.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Ideally a background in Finance & Accounting (ACA, ACCA, CIMA is highly desirable).
  • Extensive experience (5+ years) in implementing and configuring Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, specifically within the financial modules.
  • Deep understanding of IFRS accounting standards and their practical application within a global organization.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing group consolidation solutions within Dynamics 365.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes and reporting requirements, ideally within a multi-national UK/European context.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both business and technical stakeholders across different cultural contexts
  • Experience with data migration and integration projects.
  • Must be available to interview soon and commit to the full 6-month contract. Must have the right to work within the UK.
