A nurturing Nursery and Pre-Prep school in North London, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join there dynamic team. they are committed to providing children aged 2 to 7+ with the highest standard of education and care, ensuring that each child feels secure, valued, and eager to learn.

About the Role:

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will work closely with other practitioners in the Early Years classes, fostering a positive learning environment that promotes the ethos of the School. You will support the Team Leader in delivering a rich curriculum, leading specific areas aligned with your strengths, and engaging in snack and play duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team members to care for and educate pupils.
  • Inspire learning and promote the school's ethos.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
  • Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Manage your time effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and initiative in your role.
  • Maintain a calm, positive, and enthusiastic demeanor, even under pressure.

Personal Specification:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and approachability.
  • Strong relationship-building abilities within the school community.
  • Respect for confidentiality.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Flexibility and self-motivation.
  • Passion for children's learning and development.

Education and Training:

  • Grade C or above in English, Maths, and Science.
  • NVQ Level 3 or 6 is highly desirable; QTS is a plus.
