We are looking for candidates seeking full-time or part-time opportunities and can start work within a month! If you have a passion for childcare and looking for a new and exciting challenge and really want to develop your career, there is an opportunity for you. As an Early Years Practitioner, your duties will include:
  • Communicating with your Manager on any day-to-day issues in relation to your role.
  • Being aware of OFSTED national standards.
  • Implementing and supporting the nursery policies.
  • Maintaining up to date records on children attending the nursery.
  • Being responsible for housekeeping duties.
  • Working effectively with other team members and support each other.
  • Working in partnership with parents for the benefit of the children.
  • Promoting a professional image of the nursery.
  • Assisting in the organisation and attending out of hours meetings and training sessions when requested to do so by the Nursery Manager.
  • Supporting the management ethos.
  • Undertaking any duties set to you by the management team that will assist in the day to day running of the nursery.
The ideal Early Years Practitioner will hold the following skills and experiences:
  • Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An NVQ level 2/3 in childcare.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently within a team structure.
  • A positive approach to flexibility within the nursery, training and meetings.
