Estate Operative

MUST HAVE A FULL UK DRIVERS LICENCE

Based in: Wembley

Hours: 8 am till 4 pm

Pay: £13 per hour and £25k on the perm side

Days to work: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, & Monday

Summary:

The Estate Operative is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the estate's external areas, ensuring a pleasant and high standard environment for all residents. This role includes cleaning, litter collection, pressure washing, and general upkeep of outdoor spaces. The Estate Operative also assists with routine maintenance tasks, performs audits, and adheres to company policies.

Roles and Responsibilities:

* Maintain the cleanliness of all external pathways, roads, plant beds, grassed areas, and gardens on the estate.

* Regularly sweep away litter and cigarette ends to ensure a litter-free environment.

* Remove cobwebs from rails, benches, fencing, lobbies, and door canopies.

* Clean and polish all stainless steel fittings, such as signage, bollard lights, and handrails, as per defined schedules.

* Undertake pressure washing as needed to various areas of the estate to maintain cleanliness and appearance.

* Water potted plants in the concierge and resident's lounge.

* Water plants in external areas.

* Clean, tidy, and disinfect all waste bin rooms and remove deposited items.

* Ensure that bins are in the appropriate area for collection, and manage refuse and recycling.

* Collect refuse from designated areas and transport it to the temporary collection point.

* Coordinate with the local authority for scheduled collections.

* Ensure that refuse is properly separated for recycling and general waste.

* Maintain the temporary collection point in a clean and organised condition. Cladding

* Clean low-level cladding, bin louvers, and bollard lights on a regular basis and as necessary to preserve the estate's aesthetics

* Ensure water features are free from leaves, debris, and empty baskets as needed.

* Regularly inspect pumps according to operation and maintenance manuals.

* Check the control panel in the boat for any faults and report them to the team

* Keep car park areas clean, litter-free, and apply degreaser as necessary.

* Utilise a sweeper machine to clean roadways and car park areas
