The Supply Register is currently recruiting for exam invigilators to work with one of our schools in the Friern Barnet area of London. There will be several different shift patterns available so this will suit people who are looking for full time or part time roles. PLEASE NOTE THE PERIOD OF EXAMS IS BETWEEN THE 18TH-29TH NOVEMBER 2024.

Responsibilities

  • Setting up exam halls, providing the necessary equipment, papers and stationary for pupils
  • Helping to seat pupils before the start of the exam and ensure they enter the exam room/ hall in the correct manner
  • Following procedures related to the storage of possessions and what is not permitted in an exam room/ hall
  • Ensuring pupils are silent during exams and following all mandatory rules
  • Assisting with pupil queries during the exams, providing extra materials and stationery as needed
  • Ensuring that correct end of exam policies are followed, papers are collected and students remain silent
  • Supervising students as they leave the exam room/ hall, making sure all equipment is returned and accounted for

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an exam invigilator is essential
  • Proof of Right to Work in the UK
  • Must hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
  • Must be able to provide a minimum of 2 professional references to cover 24 months
