- Checking exam papers to ensure all required papers are present
- Assisting with setting up exam venues by laying out stationery, equipment, and examination papers in accordance with outlined procedures
- Assisting with the setup and running of computer-based exams
- Assisting candidates before exams by directing them to seats and advising on possessions permitted in the exam venue
- Making announcements to students about the rules within the exam venue and instructions for completing answer booklets
- Ensuring candidates adhere to rules within the exam room and confiscating non-permitted materials where necessary
- Invigilating during exams, addressing queries from candidates, and handling examination misconduct in line with strict procedures
- Checking attendance during examinations
- Supervising candidates during toilet breaks, rest breaks, and lunch breaks
- Collecting and collating exam scripts at the end of examinations following strict procedures
- Supervising candidates leaving the exam room to ensure equipment or stationery is not removed and that candidates exit in an orderly and quiet manner
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with people in a customer service role
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Self-motivated and able to work with ambiguity
- Numerically competent
- Trustworthy and reliable to complete tasks unsupervised
- Respectful of other and intuitive to needs of people
