Facade Designer

We are currently seeking an experiencedFacade Designerfor a leading facade company based inLondon and Essex. Our client has a strong reputation for delivering cutting-edge facade solutions for some of the UK's most prestigious construction projects.

As theFacade Designer, you will be responsible for designing and detailing facade systems, from initial concept through to final drawings. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex and high-profile projects that push the boundaries of innovation in facade design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings for facade systems using AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software.
• Work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to deliver design solutions that meet client requirements and regulations.
• Provide technical support and advice to the project team throughout the design and installation phases.
• Ensure designs are compliant with building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Assist in the coordination and integration of facade systems with other building elements.
• Prepare design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and schedules.

Key Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years' UK experience as a facade designer, or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Experience in designing and detailing facade systems, including curtain walls, cladding, and glazing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.
• Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and facade standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work within project timelines and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• A degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field would be an advantage.
