An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fire Consultant, offering a competitive salary of 38,000 - 55,000 depending on qualifications and experience. This role is ideal for a professional with property sector experience, who is either working towards or holds a recognised third-party fire risk assessment accreditation.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct fire risk assessments (Types 1-4) for commercial and residential properties
  • Develop fire strategies for complex buildings
  • Perform passive fire protection surveys and ensure compliance with Building Regulations and Approved Documents
  • Assess fire hazards, risks, and mitigation strategies using engineering principles
  • Design, install, and evaluate fire detection, suppression, and control systems
  • Collaborate with clients to deliver high-quality fire safety consultancy services


Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in fire consultancy
  • Experience with fire risk assessments and strategies within the property sector
  • Strong knowledge of relevant fire safety regulations and building codes
  • Working towards or holding a formal H&S qualification, such as NEBOSH
  • Competent in applying fire engineering principles to protect people and property
