The role is PPM based, carrying out servicing and reactive works on portable firefighting equipment (extinguishers, fire blankets) at various locations primarily TFL Premises.
Responsible for:
- PPM and reactive visits as required on portable firefighting equipment and ensuring applicable standards are adhered to (BS5306 - fire extinguishers)
- Maintaining asset records ensuring accuracy
- Advising the Manager/client regarding potential non-compliances and possible remedial works
Preferred Skills and Behaviors:
- Hold a full UK Driving licence
- Good working knowledge of relevant standards
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and within a team
- Good communication skills
- Accurate / legible paperwork skills for reporting

- Experience recharging and maintaining Portable Fire Extinguisher equipment - required
- TFL access permits - required
- ISOH Training - desirable
- BAFE accreditation - desirable
- Product training - desirable
Work Conditions
Sunday - Thursday Nights (22:00 to 06:00) but needs to be flexible regarding working hrs/overtime.
