Job description :
As a Fire Stopper, your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough pre-surveys of fire doors and compartmentation to identify any non-conformance or issues. Additionally, you will:
- Perform service penetrations
- Apply Bat Mastic seals
- Administer compounds into concrete slabs
- Install fire barriers in lofts and basements
- Develop technical solutions for fire stopping
- Maintain high-quality installation records
- Interpret and adhere to manufacturer specifications
- Utilize digital technology (Tablet) to document installation evidence
- Work both independently and as part of a team
About You:
You should possess solid technical knowledge across a wide range of relevant parts and materials within the trade. Ideally, you will hold a CSCS card and have experience working in domestic & commercial properties. You should be confident in utilizing your expertise to recommend best practice remedial work and providing detailed technical solutions.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 certification in Passive Fire Protection and demonstrated previous experience
- Ability to work to standards and manufacturer instructions
- Proficiency in recording information on a digital platform
- Valid UK driving license.
