Firestopper - Permanent

Unite People are working with a wellestablished Property and Asset Maintenance Company within the South East of England to hire a number of Firestoppersfor their London teams.

The client work within large scale commercial properties such as hospitals, student accomodations and industrial units. This is not social housing works.

Duties will include, but not be limited to, the following:

• Installation of Passive Fire Protection materials
• All aspects of Firestopping
• Working in a team and also independently when require
• Liaise with management team on a daily basis
• Carry out Passive Fire Protection surveys and recording findings

Person specification

Essential Qualifications:

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification Passive Fire Protection, Firestopping, Cavity Barrier Installationor other relevant trade, or equivalent level of competence obtained from on-the-job experience

Desirable:

• CSCS Card
• Relevant experience

Essential:

• Proven experience working as a Firestopperon commercial projects
• Experience in installation of all Firestopping materials
• Trade background experience
• Knowledge/Awareness of Health and Safety on site

• Ability to use own initiative
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to diagnose/problem solve

A Full UK driving license is essential
