Key qualities we are looking from the Food and Beverage Manager:
As Food and Beverage Manager you will lead and elevate our Food and Beverage Operational areas which consists of the Quadrato Restaurant and Lounge, Conference and Events Department and Room Service area, while in conjunction with our Executive Chef for the Quadrato Restaurant Kitchen Department, ensure that all Operational Food and Beverage areas throughout the Hotel are regularly audited so that full Food Safety with Health and Safety are compiled to an impeccable standard.
The second main focus of the Food and Beverage Manager is ensuring that the Food and Beverage Departments operates at full peak efficiency, guaranteeing an exceptional yet rememberable dining experience for our hotel guests, which with your Operational team, you will be required to lead by example and take a hands on approach.
The ideal candidate will have the following Skills and Knowledge:
Must have a minimum of 5 years experience within a similar Food and Beverage Manager role within the Hospitality 5* Hotel Industry.
Must have Food Hygiene and Food Safety Compliance Qualified Certificates.
Ability to work under pressure and independently.
Advanced Microsoft Office Computer skills and relevant programs like Microsoft Outlook for communication.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work to tight deadlines.

The main responsibilities for this role would include:
You will direct, lead and manage the Food and Beverage Department in line with the Hotel main Brand Standards.
Work closely with the Executive Chef, Assistant Food and Beverage Manager and Banqueting Manager to drive Food and Beverage quality with regularly monitoring Food Safety / Operational Health & Safety ensuring that this is complied to an impeccable standard.
Develop a Food and Beverage operating strategy with maintaining all Food and Beverage SOPs that is aligned with the brands business strategy and lead its execution.
Adhere to the LQA and Forbes guidelines and actively enforce these standards.
Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a high-performing collections of Food and Beverage Assistants / Mini Bar Assistants and Room Service Assistants, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and guest satisfaction.
Set performance goals, conduct regular evaluations, and provide guidance for professional development with briefing the Group Director of Human Resources.
Drive training within the team in conjunction with the Group Director of Human Resources, actively encouraging team members to partake in courses such as WSET or obtaining industry qualifications.
Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to drive cohesive operations and achieve overall organisational goals.
Work closely with the Purchasing team to source the best products for our guests, where possible with a focus on sourcing the most sustainable option.
Develop and manage the F&B budget in line with forecasts.
Review and control the weekly payroll budget with ensuring that all F & B Department Rotas are completed in a timely fashion.
Drive self-audits throughout the year to ensure we are compliant as a hotel.
Manage day-to-day operations, drive quality, and verify standards are meeting the expectations of our guests on a daily basis.
In conjunction with the Executive Chef, oversee menu planning, pricing strategies, and Food & Beverage offerings, ensuring innovation and alignment with industry trends.
Identify opportunities to increase Profits with driving Revenue and create value by challenging existing processes, encouraging innovation and driving necessary change.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to optimize pricing and quality of goods and services.
Analyse guest feedback, implement improvements, and develop initiatives to enhance the dining experience.
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Food Safety and sanitation regulations.
Drive sustainable practices through the department and across the wider hotel.
