Cedar is currently partnering with a rapidly expanding, private-equity-backed technology and consulting business in Central London to secure an Interim FP&A Manager. This role is a 3-6 month contract with a competitive day rate of £450-550.

The Role

As Interim FP&A Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Oversee the preparation of monthly financial reports and maintain the KPI pack, highlighting key trends and emerging risks or opportunities.
Provide data analysis and support for key projects, collaborating with senior managers to deliver timely and accurate results.
Act as the main financial liaison for the sale process, working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Lead financial due diligence for a potential sale, including data analysis, risk identification, and reporting.
Conduct detailed financial analysis and develop valuation models (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions) to assess market value and advise on pricing.
Support strategic financial planning, analysing potential deal structures and advising on optimal strategies.
Perform additional finance-related tasks as required to support the business's objectives and the sale process.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

Proven experience in financial modelling, ideally within a corporate finance setting.
Proficiency in Excel, financial modelling software, and data visualisation tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Effective communication skills to present complex financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
Prior experience in interim or contract roles is advantageous but not essential.
The rate of £450-550 per day is competitive and reflects a fair increase from your previous salary or day rate.
