A privately owned, high growth energy business in the UK and Europe is seeking a qualified accountant for a finance role focused on planning and analysis of performance.
The position involves significant business partnering and commercial modeling processes, including building budgets, forecasting, and investor reporting.
Candidates should possess a qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA, along with experience in financial planning and analysis, particularly in modeling and business partnering.

Your new companyA privately owned, high growth energy business with a portfolio of assets in the UK and Europe. The company have interests in a range of technologies and are very keen to develop their finance function by creating more commercial outputs.

Your new roleWorking as part of the finance function, across a range of assets, the role is focused on driving planning and analysis of performance. This role will have a significant amount of business partnering as well as working on commercial modelling processes.Duties:

Building and preparing budgets and forecasts
Working with project teams
Analysing financial performance of projects and assets
Cashflow analysis
Investor reporting

What you'll need to succeedYou will need to be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) looking for a commercial role in a high growth business. You will have the motivation to be part of a scale up environment and experience will include exposure to financial planning and analysis skills like modelling, business partnering and/or powerBI.
