Full Stack Developer / Engineer (TypeScript Python Ruby AWS) WFH / London to £45k

Are you a bright, ambitious Software Developer who enjoys learning, problem solving and using a range of technology across the full stack?

You could be progressing your career and gaining valuable finance and technology knowledge at a SaaS FinTech; their capital market tools are used by Investment Banks and independent research providers to automate and analyse client service and research consumption, presenting a complete overview of the client relationship made available via the Cloud.

As a Junior Full Stack Developer you'll be mentored and supported by a highly talented using software engineering best practices within a Pair Programming environment to build complex software applications, APIs and databases. You'll gain exposure to a wide range of technology and projects from engaging user interfaces, through to complex backend logic and databases.

Location / WFH:

You can work from home most of the time, meeting up with colleagues in the London office once or twice a month for team collaboration and meetings.

About you:

  • You are degree educated, having achieved a 2.1 or above in Computer Science or similar technical discipline
  • You have commercial software development experience
  • You have a strong understanding of Object Orientated Programming, Data Structures, Design Patterns, Algorithms
  • You have experience with some of the following: Ruby, Java, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, NumPy, APEX, SQL, database administration
  • You're familiar with cloud technologies, they use AWS but Azure or GCP also fine
  • You have a good understanding of Agile methodologies and Test Drive Development (TDD)
  • You have strong analysis and problem solving skills
  • You are enthusiastic, keen to learn and develop your skills
