Southwark, London

We are on the lookout for a Gardener to join our team in the Southwark area.

The Role:

Maintain and enhance parks, playgrounds, and green spaces to meet high standards.
Care for grass verges along roads and green spaces on housing estates.
Use basic horticultural machinery and equipment in routine maintenance tasks.
Ensure Health & Safety guidelines are strictly followed in all activities.
Provide friendly, helpful assistance to residents and park visitors as needed.

The Candidate:

Essential: Previous experience in grounds maintenance.
Desirable: Basic plant knowledge.
Desirable: Familiarity with horticultural machinery and equipment.
Essential: Strong understanding of Health & Safety practices.
Essential: Valid driving license for up to 3.5 tonnes (transit tipper); prior experience driving within a London Borough is preferred.
Essential: Clear communication skills and the ability to understand and follow instructions.
Essential: Physical stamina for outdoor work across all weather conditions.
Essential: Demonstrated experience in customer care and public interaction.
Essential: Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
