About the RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Jewellery Mounter to join a high-energy, mission-driven team revolutionising the world of fine jewellery. Working at the heart of a buzzing workshop, the Jewellery Mounter will play a vital role in crafting exquisite engagement rings, wedding bands, and luxury jewellery pieces. The ideal candidate will be a meticulous artisan with a sharp eye for detail, eager to work with the finest materials and deliver top-tier craftsmanship.

In this role, the Jewellery Mounter will carry out a variety of essential tasks, from cleaning and assembling castings to resizing and polishing, ensuring every piece meets the company's exacting standards. You'll collaborate closely with a team of skilled goldsmiths, setters, and production experts to create exceptional jewellery that delights customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean, assemble, and finish 18ct Gold and Platinum castings with precision and care.
  • Resize engagement rings, diamond set bands, and wedding bands using a laser-welding technique.
  • Profile, polish, and perfect each piece, ensuring a flawless finish.
  • Maintain workshop tools and equipment, keeping everything clean, safe, and in perfect working condition.
  • Keep the mounting department and workshop organised, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Communicate clearly with the Production team, ensuring smooth progress and resolution of any issues.
  • Take responsibility for the security of valuable items, handling each with the utmost care.
  • Support retail operations and liaise with security when necessary, following all company protocols.
  • Consistently deliver high-quality work on time, demonstrating a sense of ownership and pride in your craft.

What Makes You a Great Fit:

  • A Jewellery-making degree or equivalent qualification.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience in Fine Jewellery (bench experience).
  • Laser-welding expertise and excellent jobbing skills.
  • A meticulous eye for detail and a strong work ethic.
