An exciting opportunity has arisen within a leading independent acoustic consultancy specialising in all aspects of acoustics/noise and vibration with a busy office in London. Due to a healthy workload they currently require a Graduate Acoustic consultant who's suitably qualified to degree/diploma level in Acoustics. You will work alongside a team of highly skilled consultants, gaining valuable experience and skills in a diverse range of projects including listed building refurbishments, amusement parks and high end residential developments.
Qualifications:
Qualified to degree level in Acoustics/Noise and Vibration
IOA Diploma
Full driving license is essential
Experience
Ideally previous acoustic consultancy experience
Technically competent and IT proficient
Commercially aware and team player
Good communication and client liaison skills
Resourceful and ambitious with the ability to self manage
Duties
Write high quality technical documents
Liaise with clients, respond to enquiries and develop the business within the acoustics sector
Identify new areas of work
Conduct Pre-completion and Sound Insulation testing
Provide Acoustic Design and Advice
Conduct noise and vibration surveys
Noise measurement, assessment and planning
Recommendation and assessment of mitigation measures where required to provide adequate levels of noise protection
