A nationally recognised niche noise and vibration engineering consultancy is looking to recruit a Graduate Acoustics Consultant to work from their office in London. With projects across a range of sectors including commercial, entertainment and education, you will have the opportunity to work the environmental planning stage of projects right through to building design, whilst also benefitting from an experienced team of acousticians to aid with your training at every step!

Requirements are -

  • A minimum of a BSc in Acoustics or related discipline.
  • Institute of Acoustics associate membership.
  • Full Driving license and access to own vehicle.
  • Ideally knowledge of working guidelines and policies affecting the acoustics market.
  • Familiarity with noise measurement procedures and legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A team orientated attitude.
  • The ability to work on own initiative.

Duties will include-

  • Undertaking acoustic measurements, surveys and assessments.
  • Writing technical reports.
  • Supporting senior staff.
  • Liaising between internal and external contacts.
  • Maintaining commercial awareness of the market and organization.
  • Project administration.
