About the Role
The successful candidate will work in the heritage team and collaborate with colleagues across the company. The role involves:
- Expertise in Historic Environments: Developing statements of significance for various historic assets, including listed buildings, conservation areas, and historic landscapes.
- Assessment & Advising: Assessing impacts of developments on heritage sites and advising stakeholders such as clients and local authorities.
- Archaeological Potential: Preparing desk-based assessments to evaluate archaeological prospects and mitigation strategies.
- GIS & Townscape Skills: Experience in or willingness to develop expertise in GIS and townscape assessment.

Candidate Requirements
- Academic Background:
- Minimum 2:1 in relevant fields such as Archaeology, History, Conservation, or Town Planning.
- A post-graduate degree and an IHBC-recognized course are desirable.
- Skills: Strong analytical, presentation, and writing skills.
- Work Experience: Prior experience in the heritage field is a plus, whether in consultancy, local government, or another relevant capacity.#
