You will already have an excellent writing skills, although that may largely have been gained due to your passion for the written word or from your studies. You will need to be confident, capable and be prepared to turn your hand to whatever is needed to support the team. You will need to be interested in the world of business, current affairs and be keen to get involved in weighty issues and media relations.

You will be a stellar graduate wanting to join our client, an independent and fast growing professional services PR/Communications agency based in buzzy and media-rich Clerkenwell. You will be able to join the team in the next few weeks. You may already have some work experience or an internship in PR or marketing with some media relations experience. You may just be a talented graduate with a passion for PR and the world of business. It will suit someone who had potentially considered a career in the law or accountancy but wants something creative and people orientated.

As a Graduate PR Assistant you will:

  • Work alongside the senior management team
  • Build your media relations skills
  • Focus on copy writing across the client portfolio
  • Working with the in house design team
  • Build your client handling skills
  • Work alongside the directors to support them on new business activities.

In return you will receive a minimum starting salary of £25 -27k. But more than that you will gain a career. You will likely see a pay rise before the end of the first year! Hybrid working, with some time in the office and some from home. An early finish on a Friday too.

The agency is fast paced, the client base is intellectually challenging and the work is creative and you will be securing coverage in the nationals, trade and specialist media. As their Graduate PR Assistant you will be given excellent training and will have a supportive and empowering team around you. They have recently been announced as one of the top 25 PR agencies in the UK. A real achievement in the 10 years since they launched.
