The Opportunity: We are seeking a dedicated Groundsperson to enhance our Estates Team. This individual will play a crucial role in maintaining the pristine condition of our sports fields and ensuring they reflect the high standards our institution is known for.
Key Responsibilities:
- Uphold the maintenance, security, and aesthetic standards of the sports fields, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
- Work in tandem with sports directors to schedule and prepare fields for student activities and events.
- Contribute to the institution’s ethos and image through meticulous groundskeeping.
- Collaborate with a dynamic team to support the institution’s operations.
Working Hours:
- A standard commitment of 40 hours per week, with additional hours during peak sports seasons and institutional events.
Holiday Entitlement:
- 35 days of holiday, aligned with the institution’s calendar and in consultation with the groundskeeping team.

- A hardworking, adaptable individual with a professional approach.
- Capable of working autonomously and within a team to meet objectives.
- Physically fit and open to developing new competencies.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence and strong interpersonal skills.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Extensive experience in sports ground maintenance, particularly cricket and rugby.
- Relevant qualifications in groundskeeping or related fields, or a commitment to ongoing professional development.
