Your new companyHays is working with a leading multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy that offers integrated design and technical expertise to a wide range of well-respected clients.

Your new roleThe selected candidate will advise and assist with client and project demands, advise and support on H&S compliance, coordinate H&S measures through all product phases, complete required paperwork and communicate through appropriate channels, strategise the flow of H&S information throughout the project lifecycle, liaise with principal contractors and stakeholders to ensure designs meet safety requirements, advise clients of practicality of their project, manage multiple projects for internal and external clients, assist with bidding and business development, audit and report on CDM duties on projects, and integrate with the wider Practice H&S team.   • Advise and assist with client and project demands.
  • Guide and support in compliance with H&S regulations.
  • Coordinate and implement H&S measures for the planning and preparation of all construction phases.
  • Complete all administration paperwork and communicate this through the appropriate channels.
  • Assist and develop strategies to maintain the flow of relevant information at all stages of the project lifecycle.
  • Liaise with principal contractors and all stakeholders to ensure designs meet safety requirements.
  • Advise clients in terms of project practicality regarding CDM regulations.
  • Manage multiple internal and external client CDM portfolios.
  • Integrate with the wider practice H&S team to ensure a cohesive approach to H&S matters.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Knowledge of legislation relevant to the construction industry, CDM and health and safety.
  • Qualification in health and safety (NEBOSH construction, TechIOSH etc.).
  • Membership with IMAPS.
  • Previous CDM experience.
