JR271: H&S Advisor  Location: Central LondonSalary: Up To £50,000 Per Annum Overview:  First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a H&S Advisor on behalf of one of our clients.  Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration. Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Advise and assist with client and project demands.
  • Guide and support in compliance with H&S regulations.
  • Coordinate and implement H&S measures for the planning and preparation of all construction phases.
  • Complete all administration paperwork and communicate this through the appropriate channels.
  • Assist and develop strategies to maintain the flow of relevant information at all stages of the project lifecycle.
  • Liaise with principal contractors and all stakeholders to ensure designs meet safety requirements.
  • Advise clients in terms of project practicality regarding CDM regulation.
  • Manage multiple internal and external client CDM portfolios.
  • Integrate with the wider practice H&S team to ensure a cohesive approach to H&S matters.

Skills and Qualifications:  

  • Knowledge of legislation relevant to the construction industry, CDM and health and safety.
  • Qualification in health and safety (NEBOSH construction, TechIOSH etc.).
  • Membership with IMAPS.
  • Previous CDM experience.
