  • Project/Department Overview -

    The Major Programme Partner (MPP) and Asset Renewal Partner (ARP) for Terminal 1 and 2, which are two of six major programmes of work that Heathrow have committed to deliver within the H7 quinquennium. will collaboratively deliver transformation safely, efficiently, and sustainably with an expert team enabling Heathrow to meet its objectives. This role will sit within the Quality and Assurance team and will report to the Quality and Assurance Director.

    Job Description/Purpose -

    This is a key role within the H7 team and recognises the importance of Handover in line with the Client's Requirements, and the need to ensure all project information is processed through agreed channels and in line with the Information Execution Plan.

    Demonstrate an awareness of the different information requirements (project information model/ asset data, etc) in line with the Heathrow Common Language, and Heathrow Gateway Lifecycle (HGL).

    The role is responsible for the establishment of Handover Tracker to ensure all stakeholders can see "What is required, When is it required by, Who is tasked with delivering, What format is the information required, and How is the information being provided"

    You will need to be persistent and proactive in your approach to identify any potential causes for delay to a product being issued and agree solutions to achieve the best outcome.

    Key Responsibilities -

    Ownership of Handover process to ensure all information is transferred to Heathrow in timescales and format required.

    To be point of contact for all Handover queries.

    Responsible for collation and transmission of HGL transmission.

    Chair regular internal Handover meetings.

    Chair monthly Heathrow Handover meetings

    Liaise with stakeholders to maintain Handover tracker to ensure the wider project team is provided with 'one version' of the truth.

    Prepare accurate (data driven reports) as to trends in delivery (including full RCAs of any failures).

    Identify, capture, and share Lessons learnt from Handover activities.

    Provide Information Control function to wider project stakeholders.

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience

    Essential:

    Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of Handover on Complex Infrastructure Projects into Operation & Maintenance.

    Demonstrable knowledge of ISO 19650

    Time management and ability to prioritise.

    Strong interpersonal skills / excellent communicator using variety of platforms.

    Thorough IT skills including Excel, PowerApps, etc.

    Proficient in use of CDMS / ACC / Maxinet / Documentum.

    Demonstrable experience of starting / maintaining and finishing a project.

    Experience of delivering the desired outputs on time an din budget from across a diverse supply chain.

    . HNC in Engineering or above

    . Technical background with experience in Civils

    Desirable:

    Experience of Heathrow processes including Heathrow Common Lanaguage, Employers' Requirements, and Heathrow Gateway Lifecycle.
