WRG is excited to be supporting an award winning property & construction group who are looking to appoint an experienced CDM Advisor/ Principal Designer to lead and grow the service line. Our client has developed an excellent reputation over the years and have become well established within the built environment, they own several consultancies within the sector which offer a range of professional services to clients across the UK.

The department is up and running and currently sits around (10 H&S/ CDM Consultants) and they now require an experienced and technically strong CDM/ PD to lead the team and contribute to its development and overall success. The group oversees a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, education, education, data centres, retail, heritage, leisure and healthcare projects and have been appointed on long term frameworks.

The role would suit an experienced senior level CDM Advisor/ Principal Designer from a consultancy background who is looking for the next step in their career and would like to join a dynamic business which is going through an exciting period of growth.

Responsibilities:

Offer a range of CDM/ PD/ H&S services to clients across the built environment.

Ensure that pre-construction information is readily available for each project and is kept up to date.

Preparation of health and safety files and construction phase plans where required.

Carry out site inspections and ensure that RAMS are in place for each project.

Further build and develop existing client relationships and develop new ones.

Manage a team of H&S & CDM professionals.

Development of existing team and recruitment for new consultants.

Overall responsibility for department P&L, forecasting, invoicing, tendering etc.

Requirements:

NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent.

NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (desirable but not required).

Membership to IOSH, APS, IIRSM or similar professional body.

Excellent understanding of 2015 CDM Regulations.

Good understanding of BSA and the changes affecting the industry.

Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
