Role: Head of Finance Adult Social Care

Location: London

Contract: 6 months rolling

Rate: Negotiable P/D umbrella

Working Pattern: Hybrid 2 days p/w in office

Start Date: March

I am currently working on behalf of a local authority client of mine who is looking for an interim Head of Finance to manage the Adult Social Care directorate.

The role:

• Strategic financial advice to Managers across the Adults leadership team
• Working with Budget holders to make sure that they meet the demands of their budgets and making recommendations of value for money or cost savings where necessary.
• Budget Monitoring, budget management and budget modelling
• Management and Coordination of the medium-term financial plan
• Provide the senior leadership team with updates on funding requirements and any changes in funding that impact budget management.
• Provide advice on any legislative changes in adult's social care.

Applicant Requirements:

• Ideally fully qualified accountant
• Must display and evidence significant experience in Adult Social Care finance at a senior level. Must be recent.
• Strong understanding of local government adult social care service
