St Michael’s Fellowship is a charity working hard to change the lives of families with complex difficulties. The people who work with us are passionate about what they do – whether it’s in our residential houses or out in the community with young parents.

From our radical roots we have shifted, changed and grown into an organisation that embraces people from all backgrounds. But making sure children have the brightest possible future remains at the heart of our work.

We are a smaller charity, but we make a huge difference to the people we work with. The families we help come in many shapes and sizes, all with different problems and needs.

At the heart of our work lie values of compassion and respect for the parent as an individual, and a belief in the capacity of every human being for positive change. With these values we work to break the cycles of disadvantage, change family dynamics, and create new opportunities for children.

We are looking for an experienced Head of Fundraising to:

  • Deliver the fundraising strategy
  • Raise funds (trusts & statutory)
  • Manage the team (Communications & Marketing Officer)
  • Develop and maintain relationships with funders
  • Contribute to the development of the organisation
  • Provide marketing support (to our Comms Officer)
  • Plan, monitor and report on performance
  • Support the effective governance of the charity

We are looking for someone who has outstanding interpersonal skills in both the workplace and social fundraising contexts, and with experience of generating sustainable revenue streams, knowledge of different ways to grow income, and versatility in picking up new strands.
