Head of Governance and ComplianceAre you an experienced Governance and Compliance professional looking for your next challenge? 
  • Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 DOE
  • Full time role: 52 weeks
  • Location: Based near Edgware, London
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
Key duties:
  • Advise senior leadership on the Independent School Inspectorate regulatory governance & compliance matters
  • Keep policies up to date and ensure compliance across the Group
  • Cascade down to SLT and legislative and compliance changes
  • Lead audits and risk management strategies, maintaining the risk register
  • Deliver staff training and promote best practices
  • Ensure compliance requirements and frameworks are maintained
  • Oversight of all compliance reporting
Requirements for this role:
  • Experience in a similar compliance role, ideally within an educational setting
  • Strong understanding of regulations & risk management
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Legal background (desirable)
