We're working with one of the UK's most prominent and complex organisations to hire a Head of Indirect Tax for a key leadership role within their in-house finance function.
This is a senior position where you will drive the organisation's indirect tax agenda, lead a high-performing team, and provide expert advice across a range of high-value commercial and property projects. It offers a rare opportunity to shape tax strategy and influence business-critical decisions in a enterprising environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and lead the organisation's indirect tax (primarily VAT) strategy
- Provide advisory support on large-scale commercial and property transactions
- Oversee HMRC engagement and ensure full compliance with all indirect tax obligations
- Lead a skilled in-house indirect tax team
- Drive transformation, governance, and process improvements in the tax function
What we're looking for:
- ACA / ACCA / ATT / CTA qualified with significant post-qualified UK VAT experience
- Strong track record within large or complex organisations
- Strategic thinker with a commercial mindset
- Proven leadership and excellent stakeholder engagement skills
