THE ROLE

As the Head of IT, you will be responsible for developing the skills of the existing IT Team and oversee day-to-day operations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
  • Oversee IT projects, including infrastructure upgrades, software implementations, and system integrations, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align IT initiatives with organisational goals and strategic priorities.
  • Manage the IT budget, including capital expenditures and operational costs, optimising ROI for technology investments.
  • Establish and enforce robust IT security policies to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulations, including GDPR and industry standards.
  • Lead cybersecurity efforts, conducting risk assessments, and implementing best practices to protect against evolving cyber threats.

 

THE PERSON

You should have experience working in high-demand environments, such as media and entertainment. With a strong foundation in IT infrastructure management, you can expertly oversee diverse systems including Linux, Windows, macOS, and complex network environments.

Familiarity with storage and backup solutions like SAN, NAS, and disaster recovery systems should further support your ability to ensure data integrity and continuity.

With strong analytical skills and a clear communication style, you should keep stakeholders engaged and updated. Ensuring that technology initiatives support both immediate and long-term business success.
