We are delighted to present an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned Chartered Paraplanner to take the reins as Head of Paraplanning at a prestigious boutique Chartered IFA based in London. As Head of Paraplanning, you will assume a leadership role within a small yet dynamic team, overseeing workflow allocation, providing guidance and management, and playing an integral part in the firm’s senior management team. This is an opportunity to influence and drive the business forward, contributing to strategic decisions, enhancing client service, and playing a key role in shaping the direction of the practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a small paraplanning team, ensuring efficiency, quality, and technical excellence in all areas of paraplanning.
  • Collaborate closely with the Operations team and key internal stakeholders to optimise processes and drive improvements across the business.
  • Attend client meetings and serve as the go-to expert for complex technical issues, including intricate calculations and research.
  • Produce bespoke suitability reports that meet the highest standards, tailored to the unique needs of UHNW clients.
  • Drive the adoption of technology and innovative solutions to streamline operations and enhance overall client experience.
  • Contribute to the investment committee, providing insight and expertise in portfolio management and strategy.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Chartered Paraplanner (or working towards Chartered status) with at least 4 years’ experience in a senior paraplanning role.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, with a passion for coaching and professional development.
  • A strategic thinker with a strong technical background and the ability to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
  • Enthusiastic about enhancing management skills and playing a key part in a highly professional, close-knit team.
