We expect you to completely 'own’ the role and deliver against the sector target. We forecast a promotion to a 'C’ level role for the right candidate within 12 months.

The Head of Sales Opportunity:

Reporting to our Executive team, you will take ownership of the sales and marketing team, with a focus on winning new business within our target markets. The team also manages relationships with our highly valued recurring revenue clients, selling them technical solutions to help them achieve business success and increasing our managed IT services footprint.

As a member of the senior management team, you will be involved in developing and influencing the strategic direction of the business and be responsible for delivery of a predictable revenue stream. You will be assessed on consistent and profitable growth in sales revenues through planning and most importantly, effective management of the sales team.

+ Experience in working with UK-based IT-managed service providers with a client base of 100+ user organisations+ Proven track record of selling complex annuity services and consultancy+ Solid understanding of the IT services industry and market trends+ Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field; relevant sales certifications or training+ Track record of delivering successful sales performance+ Experience of writing high-quality proposals+ Evidence of managing a structured sales process, using a CRM to manage and monitor results+ Experience of defining sales commission plans for sales teams to drive and reward the required behaviours+ Evidence of sound commercial acumen and decision-making in a broad variety of complex business scenarios+ Evidence of successful and decisive leadership of the sales team (setting clear direction, managing, coaching, developing)+ Able to build rapport and trust with clients, prospects, and team members+ Able to motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team+ Resilient and persistent+ Creative and innovative
