Our client, a dance music management company, is seeking a gifted Head of Writer/Producer/Mixer within the Management Division. This role offers hybrid working structures with two days WFH. 


Key responsibilities will include:


•    Supporting the existing roster of writers/producers/mixers, guiding them with strategic career moves.
•    Pitching collaborations, song placements, and facilitating opportunities for the existing roster of music industry specialists.
•    Securing new mix/master clients, as well as song cuts for the writer/producer.  
•    Sourcing and signing additional writers, producers, and mixers. 
•    Effectively building and nurturing industry relationships to maximise opportunities for the division of the roster.
•    Developing and executing strategy for the division. 
•    Staying informed about trends in the dance/electronic/K-pop and global pop markets.
•    Serving as the primary advocate for the division’s clients. 
•    Negotiating deals, managing schedules, and facilitating the clients’ professional requirements.


Requirements:


•    Substantial expertise in writer/producer management or publishing. 
•    Specialism in dance and electronic music. 
•    Understanding of the global pop and K-pop markets is preferred. 
•    Demonstrable track record with managing talent and developing a roster of wrtiers, producers, and mixers.
•    Leadership qualities.
•    Current and established network within the music industry (labels, publishers etc.)
•    Strong negotiation skills. 
•    Able to advocate for clients using strong interpersonal skills.
