Health and Safety Manager – High-End Residential Project (Mayfair)

Location: Mayfair, London
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join a prestigious contractor working on a high-end residential property development in Mayfair. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a luxury residential project in one of London’s most sought-after locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all health and safety aspects of the project, ensuring full compliance with current legislation and regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement effective safety measures.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate the Health & Safety Management Plan for the project.
• Ensure safe working practices are adhered to by all site personnel and subcontractors.
• Lead safety inductions and toolbox talks for site teams.
• Liaise with the project management team and clients to ensure health and safety standards are met.
• Monitor and report on health and safety performance across the project.
• Ensure the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintain high standards of safety protocols on-site.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Familiar with procedures on Super Prime and Luxury Residential projects.
• MIOSH membership
• Must have extensive experience of fire safety and preferably on cranes and plant.
• Familiar with Regular planned and routine workplace inspections.
• Review all H&S documents available from tender pack.
• Attend weekly and monthly client's H&S meetings.
• Review RA's, COSSH and MS's.
• Advise / liaise with all sub contractors on minimum H&S requirements.
• Set up SHE procedure for contractors.
• Update the CPP.
• Update and keep records of Temporary works register.
• Site daily, weekly and monthly inspections, scaffolding etc.
