Location: Haringey
Salary: 18 Umbrella P/H
Contract: Full-Time, Monday to Friday (8 AM - 6 PM shifts)

Join Mulberry Junction, Haringey's resource center for single individuals affected by or at risk of homelessness. We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Navigator to provide vital support, information, and guidance to those in need.

As a Navigator, you will connect individuals with the services and opportunities that help them achieve positive housing, health, and learning outcomes. You will be part of a dedicated team working to reduce homelessness and empower people to achieve their personal goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a welcoming point of contact, providing tailored advice and support to service users.
  • Assess individual circumstances to connect users with internal and external services.
  • Provide empathetic and non-judgmental communication to reduce anxiety and distress.
  • Support individuals with housing, benefits, and welfare applications.
  • Promote Mulberry Junction's activities and encourage purposeful engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records to support service monitoring and evaluation.
  • Collaborate with partner agencies to ensure holistic support for clients.
  • Apply safeguarding and health and safety protocols as necessary.

What We're Looking For:

  • Understanding of the challenges faced by those at risk of homelessness.
  • Ability to work creatively and respectfully in a person-centered approach.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with IT systems (Microsoft Office).
  • Commitment to personal development and reflective practice.
  • A proactive approach to promoting service awareness and community engagement.
