Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Be the first point of contact for homeless residents
- Engage with customers in person as well as via telephone and email
- Ensure assessments are completed and make decisions (s184) based on information collected
- Provide advice and support to homeless residents
- Ensure triage administration systems are kept up to date following assessments
Candidate requirements:
- Must have previous experience of working within a similar role for another Local Authority or Housing Association
- Must have experience and knowledge of using both part 6 and 7 of the Housing Act as well as the Homelessness Act and HRA.
