Hybrid position - 3 days in the office, 2 from home

A top-ranked Legal 500 litigation law firm based near Fleet Street is looking for an HR Administrator to join the office based near Fleet Street, London. You will work closely with the HR team, providing support with on boarding, inductions, assisting with payroll and much more. Looking for a proactive and organised HR Administrator with strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Job Duties:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for staff HR queries and manage the HR mailbox.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including drafting correspondence, reports, forms, spreadsheets, and presentations.
  • Assist the HR Director with diary management, scheduling meetings/interviews, sending reminders, and making appropriate decisions when required.
  • Oversee all pre-employment and on boarding processes, including contract creation and background screening.
  • Manage the leavers process, including preparing exit documents, leave calculations, and arranging exit interviews.
  • Prepare and maintain HR documents, such as contracts, probation letters, flexible working agreements, maternity records, and references.
  • Maintain and update HR systems (Cascade), payroll and pension data, K2, and employee records.
  • Record and monitor absences, log fit notes, and highlight any issues or concerns.
  • Assist with payroll by providing timely and relevant employee information.
  • Maintain and update HR information on the internal intranet.
  • Conduct HR inductions and manage benefits administration, including private medical and dental insurance setup.
  • Process expenses, arrange meetings/interviews, and handle general HR administration such as filing and scanning.
  • Support HR data reporting and continuously enhance HR knowledge by sharing best practices and external insights.
