This dynamic organisation is on an exciting journey, and as they continue to grow, are looking for a highly motivated HR Assistant/Coordinator to support the Head of People in building the business and developing the culture from the ground up. As the HR Assistant/Coordinator you will play a pivotal role in the set up and maintenance of all people related tasks, required for a new company.

This is a fast paced and evolving role where such duties will include but will not be limited to:

  • The end-to end recruitment and on-boarding experience for all new starters
  • Coaching and supporting line managers with quality inductions and ensuring all post-recruitment activities are completed, including effective probation reviews
  • Updating and maintaining employee data and details in line with GDPR and company procedures.
  • Recording and monitoring holiday requests and absence details
  • Ensuring all HR policies are up to date and supporting line managers on their interpretation and implementation
  • Advising on matters such as contractual queries (Sickness absence, workplace adjustments, grievance and disciplinary matters)
  • Completing any off boarding activities for leavers

To be successful in this role you will have proven experience working as a HR Assistant/Coordinator, be confident with HR systems and processes and have a thorough understanding of Employment law and all relevant policies. You will be passionate about progressing your career in HR, have a positive "cando" attitude and the ability to work independently and solve problems. This role demands someone with strong attention to detail and the desire to deliver challenging time-scales. CIPD Level 3 will be required.

This position is being offered on a full-time basis (35 hours weekly) although part time applicants who can work 30 hours across 4 days will also be considered.
