We are assisting a well-established Professional Services business and they are recruiting for a HR Assistant / HR Coordinator to join the business for 1 Year fixed contract (likely to extend or go permanent), to start in early January 2025.

This role would be ideal for candidates looking for a career in HR and who have a minimum of one year's generalist HR exposure across the employee life cycle.

This is a hybrid role with 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home (with flexibility).

Reporting into the HR Business Partner and providing support to c260 employees, the focus of the role is to provide generalist HR support to the business. The role will support across HR administration, coordinating recruitment, dealing with HR queries, L&D administration and HR reports. Key duties will include;

  • Reporting into HR Business Partner and working as part of a team of 6.
  • Providing HR support to c260 employees, including dealing with HR queries and being the 1st point of contact.
  • HR administration including on-boarding, off-boarding, updating HR systems, organising HR meetings and L&D administration
  • Supporting the business with HR best practice, HR policies and processors and compliance with employment law
  • Coordinate recruitment activities, including booking interviews, sending out interview packs and letters
  • Manage and update the HR system, including maintaining records, producing monthly HR reports
  • Support with L&D activities, including administration, updating training plans reviews etc
  • Assisting with benefits, including updating spreadsheets and collating monthly benefits information
  • Review and update HR policies
  • Ad-hoc HR projects work and supporting the HR team with all aspects of HR

For this role candidates will need to have exposure within a busy HR team and ideally be studying towards CIPD.

A confident and outgoing approach is required, with strong communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be liaising with stakeholders across the business.

There is lots of scope to develop and take on more responsibility, and progression into a HR Advisor role - so they are looking for candidates who have a can do attitude, enthusiastic and can work on their own initiative.
