We are currently recruiting for a brand-new HR Assistant vacancy, to work in the London office of a highly regarded US law firm.

This position will initially be offered on a 6-month fixed-term contract basis and is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual keen to build a career within Human Resources.

HR Assistant will be responsible for a range of HR generalist tasks including:

  • Managing recruitment and tracking new hires.
  • Assisting with onboarding and offboarding.
  • Responding to employee queries and flagging ER issues to the HR Coordinator.
  • Assisting with HR documents for maternity, paternity, and contract changes.
  • Tracking absences and arranging cover if needed.
  • Assisting with payroll and benefits administration.
  • Perform other HR and office project tasks as required.

A salary of up to £35,000 will be on offer, and hybrid working arrangements.

Suitable applicants will be degree-educated, self-motivated and possess excellent organisation & communication skills. Previous experience of working in an HR administrative position and/or working towards CIPD qualification would also be desirable.
