We are currently recruiting for a brand-new HR Assistant vacancy, to work in the London office of a highly regarded US law firm.
This position will initially be offered on a 6-month fixed-term contract basis and is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual keen to build a career within Human Resources.
HR Assistant will be responsible for a range of HR generalist tasks including:
- Managing recruitment and tracking new hires.
- Assisting with onboarding and offboarding.
- Responding to employee queries and flagging ER issues to the HR Coordinator.
- Assisting with HR documents for maternity, paternity, and contract changes.
- Tracking absences and arranging cover if needed.
- Assisting with payroll and benefits administration.
- Perform other HR and office project tasks as required.
A salary of up to £35,000 will be on offer, and hybrid working arrangements.
Suitable applicants will be degree-educated, self-motivated and possess excellent organisation & communication skills. Previous experience of working in an HR administrative position and/or working towards CIPD qualification would also be desirable.
