HR Coordinator – Housing Sector

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Coordinate the recruitment process, including posting job vacancies, scheduling interviews, and managing applicant tracking
  • Prepare offer letters, contracts, and other onboarding documentation
  • Conduct new employee inductions, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization

2. Employee Records and Documentation:

  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate employee records, both digitally and physically
  • Prepare and manage HR documentation such as employment contracts, staff handbooks, and policy updates
  • Monitor staff probationary periods and issue relevant follow-ups or confirmations

3. Payroll and Benefits Administration:

  • Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure timely and accurate processing of employee salaries and benefits
  • Handle queries related to pay, benefits, and leave entitlements

4. Employee Relations and Support:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries, providing timely support to staff and management
  • Assist in managing employee relations issues, escalating complex cases to senior HR personnel
  • Support initiatives to enhance employee engagement, wellbeing, and retention

5. Compliance and Policies:

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and organizational policies specific to the housing sector
  • Assist in the development and review of HR policies and procedures to align with best practices and legal requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Essential:
    • Previous experience in an HR role
    • Must have previous housing experience
    • Familiarity with HR software and systems
