Job Vacancy: Humanities Teacher (History/Geography) - SEMH Secondary School, Hammersmith and Fulham

 

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join a supportive SEMH Secondary School in Hammersmith and Fulham. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach History or Geography as well as Citizenship and PSHE to secondary students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

 

Position: Humanities Teacher (History or Geography)
Location: Hammersmith and Fulham
Pay: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Start Date: April 2025
Contract: Temp to Perm
Interviews: February 2025

 

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Specialised in History or Geography
  • Experience working in an SEN/SEMH setting is required
  • Knowledge and experience of teaching Citizenship and PSHE
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Passion for creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment

 

Role Overview: As a Humanities Teacher, you will be teaching a range of subjects, including History or Geography, alongside Citizenship and PSHE, to students with SEMH needs.
