Salary: £165 - £265 per day (depending on experience)

Are you an experienced Humanities Teacher?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Humanities Teacher to join a Secondary Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Islington. This is a long-term sickness cover and requires an experienced candidate with strong curriculum knowledge. This role involves teaching mainly GCSE-level RE (Religious Education) and Citizenship.

Experience Required:

Must have experience teaching GCSE RE and Citizenship.
Experience working in a PRU or with students who have challenging behavior is highly desirable.
Ability to engage and inspire students with varying needs, including those with social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
A calm, empathetic, and resilient approach is essential.

Compliance Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must provide the following:

A valid DBS registered on the Update Service (essential)
References covering your past two years of employment or education
Proof of right to work in the UK
Proof of national insurance
Proof of address (dated within the last three months)
Qualification documents
