ROLE

Reporting into the Head of Hygiene job purpose and key responsibilities are as follows: To coordinate the Hygiene team to safely deliver hygiene procedures and methodology which ensure that the Manufacturing facility meets all regulatory standards and customer (internal and external) expectations for the site. To identify hygiene requirements by monitoring changes in the production environment. To maintain and develop the hygiene systems and documentation that control and drive the standards required by the business and retail customers. Facilitate and manage the implementation and ongoing requirements of the Company Health & Safety framework. Deputise for the Head of Hygiene in times of absence. To deliver training and mentoring to team members ensuring they have the skills, knowledge, tools and understanding to successfully complete their role and have a training plan to support their development. To assist the Hygiene Manager in the risk assessment process for any new equipment, ensuring the delivery of any required training requirements. To ensure the Hygiene documentation and supporting data, is in place, accurately populated and easy to retrieve.

CANDIDATE

You will have a proven track record in Hygiene within the Food Manufacturing sector. You will have operated at the Management level. You will be an excellent communicator and a real team player. Progression prospects are good for the right candidate.
