The Role

In this position, you’ll play a key role in maintaining top hygiene standards in our food production environment. You’ll handle everything from daily cleaning to deep cleans involving machinery disassembly and chemical use. This hands-on role keeps you active, ensuring our BRC accreditation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct full deep cleans of production areas, machinery, and external site areas
  • Adhere to strict hygiene standards, using chemicals and appropriate cleaning equipment
  • Manage routine cleaning schedules to maintain a clean and safe food environment
  • Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to meet BRC accreditation requirements
  • Work collaboratively with the Hygiene team to achieve high cleanliness standards

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for a motivated team player with a keen eye for cleanliness and attention to detail. Experience in food warehouse cleaning is a plus, but we provide full training to help you thrive.

You’ll have:

  • Prior food warehouse or cleaning experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong time-management skills, punctuality, and reliability
  • The ability to lift up to 20kg
  • Attention to detail, with good organisational skills
  • A proactive, positive approach to work
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Flexibility and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
